This mural was made to commemorate the tragic loss of a teacher at William Bryant, Emily Claxton. She was a lover of gardens, sunlight, and caring for others. Her poem is featured on the wall opposite this mural, for students and teachers to appreciate in their courtyard, as they remember her presence with this interactive mural.
